Julia Toledano wore Dior for her civil wedding ceremony in Paris – and her biggest celebration in Turkey

She wore her favorite pair of shoes from the Nodaleto bridal collection – the Bulla Roman, which she specially designed to wear on her special day and named after her husband. “These are the perfect wedding mules,” says Julia. “In crisp white with bead detailing and lace on the sides.”

Julia designed the Bulla Sally – an open toe sandal in two very unique colors: Silver Nappa and Metallic Gold – especially for her bridesmaids. “I wanted to design an elegant silhouette that would still offer a playful and comfortable side,” says Julia. “I decided to include the Bulla Sally in our upcoming Spring 2023 collection in many additional colors because it makes a lot of sense to me, but also because of the versatility of the design.”

The wedding ceremony turned out even better than how Julia and Roman had imagined. “My dad walked me down the aisle,” the bride says. “We didn’t need to say a word to each other. We were holding hands and we already knew that everything was going to be perfect. For her entrance, Julia chose her favorite song: “You” by Petit Biscuit. “It was quite a long walk before I reached my husband, and those minutes were so special because I remember having eye contact with him throughout everything,” she says. “And feeling comforted just because of it.”

The guests were dressed in pastel colors, and after the ceremony there was a traditional cocktail followed by dinner and a beach party. Then, for the disco party that followed, Julia wore a silver tube dress embellished with butterflies and flowers by Monique Lhuillier. “I added long hair extensions to give the look a touch of ’70s mermaid aesthetic,” she says. “I wanted to feel super tall, so I chose to wear the Nodaleto Joni, a maxi-style platform in metallic silver leather.”

That same night, the bride had one last outfit change. “One of my best friends found this 1920s crochet dress in a vintage store in London,” says Julia. “She FaceTimed me in January and we knew it was for the occasion!” The bride also changed her shoes, donning her favorite pair of summer sandals, Bulla Gaia, which have infinity laces in a dark gold crackle.

“The party didn’t end until 8 a.m. the next morning,” Julia recalls. “We were all dancing our hearts out!”
