We will announce the date shortly.
The actor, however, remains discreet about the destination. “A few places have been pre-selected, but everything is taken care of by Varun. Although Niharika and Chaitanya got engaged in August, the prospect of their alliance was discussed over a year ago. Chaitanya is the son of the Inspector General of Police of Guntur J. Prabhakar Rao and Naga Babu says their families have known each other for some time.
“We were introduced to Chaitanya’s family by mutual friends in our village in the AP. We discussed last year the possibility of an alliance. Niharika took about seven to eight months to approve the alliance and it was only after its approval that we decided to proceed, ”he shares, adding:“ Of course, Niharika and Chaitanya have seen each other for six. months and they are both very happy. As parents all we want is the happiness of the child and we are extremely happy for Niharika and Chaitanya.
Naga Babu, who recently recovered from Covid-19, said marriage was a welcome distraction for him and his family in these dark times. “It was a difficult time for us as my wife and I had tested positive for Covid-19 and we have recovered from it. Marriage took us away from it all and gave us all a reason to escape and celebrate in these dark times, ”he said in closing.
